Cruising for Covenant Hospice

Everyone loves cruises – they offer great value, fabulous food and entertainment and a hassle-free way to travel to multiple destinations. How great would it be if you could take a memorable cruise, joining existing friends and making new ones from our community, while supporting Covenant Hospice at the same time?!

Well now you can!
In conjunction with Grand Crowne Travel Agency and Covenant Hospice Volunteer (and our cruise planner extraordinaire) Wayne Leone, we are planning a Charity Cruise for Covenant Hospice in January 2013. For each person choosing to vacation on the Carnival Freedom as a part of this Charity Cruise for Covenant Hospice, Carnival Cruise Lines will make a donation to our non-profit to support the work we do in our community. It’s a win-win for you and Covenant Hospice.

Trip Details:
8 Day Eastern Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, FL aboard the Carnival Freedom
Cruise dates are Saturday, Jan. 26 to Sunday, Feb. 3 and ports of call include St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola and Nassau.
A group bus will be available for those wishing to ride to/from Fort Lauderdale. The bus will leave on Friday, Jan. 25, with an overnight stay in Fort Lauderdale. Note: Since Sunday, Feb. 3 is Super Bowl Sunday, a Super Bowl Party is being planned for that day for those riding the bus. An overnight stay in Fort Lauderdale is planned for the night of Sunday, Feb. 3.

Trip Costs:
Approximate costs for cruise staterooms are as follows:
         • Interior – from $668 per person
         • Oceanview – from $808 per person
         • Balcony – from $1,026 per person

Though the trip is a year away, we must start reserving staterooms for this Charity Cruise for Covenant Hospice and begin building our group now. For additional details on this exciting opportunity, please contact Jenni Perkins at jenni.perkins@covenanthospice.org.
